You will find several resources below that may be of use to you as a military-connected family.

Pea Ridge Elementary aims to serve our military families through our Military and Family Life Counseling program, which supports service members, their families and survivors with confidential non-medical counseling where they are stationed. Non-medical counseling can help individuals address issues such as improving relationships at home and work, stress management, adjustment difficulties, parenting, and grief or loss.

We provide a full-time Military and Family Life Counselor specializing in child and youth issues. She provides short term, non-medical counseling support to military children, service members, family members, and staff. She is available Monday through Friday during school hours. Services are at no cost and confidential with the exception of child abuse, domestic abuse, and other duty to warn situations. The Military and Family Life Counselor can assist with issues such as school adjustment, deployment and separation, reunion adjustment, sibling and parent-child communication, behavioral concerns, and fear, grief and loss. MFLC may provide psycho educational groups, deployment groups, classroom presentations, behavioral interventions, parent or staff consultations, resource/referral information, and special outreach events for Veterans Day or Month of The Military Child.
