🍎 Johnny Appleseed Day was full of learning, laughter, and lots of apples!🍏
Students rotated through several fun, hands-on activities throughout the day!
🍎 They taste-tested apple butter, apple jelly, apple pie, apple juice, and apple candy, then used descriptive words to record their favorite and least favorite.
🥧 Students practiced sequencing while making homemade apple play dough.
🎩 They got crafty by creating their very own pot hats, just like Johnny Appleseed!
🍏 Students tasted red, green, and yellow apples, graphed their favorites, and recorded the class vote.
⚖️ They also practiced measurement skills using a balance, teddy bear manipulatives, and cubes while dissecting apples and recording data about apples of different colors and sizes.
We had an APPLE-solutely amazing day! 🍎❤️
